Is Walgreens reacting to Obamacare?

Doctors and pharmacies have been dropping Medicaid patients due to low payments for years. Some are dropping Medicare patients as well. This is absolutely nothing new. Obamacare doesn't call for a public option, so Walgreens is not reacting to it. They're reacting to market forces in general. That said, if there was a single payer system Walgreens wouldn't have a choice but to accept it unless they wanted to shutter the doors to all their stores. I don't agree with government interfering further into the health care sector than they already have, but there's no way that this move can be logically linked to Obamacare.
