Friend, or more than friend?

So I've had a crush on this guy for a while and we've been friends for a while. Today he came over to my house to watch movies and we ended up snuggling on the couch with his arms around me, and falling asleep. It was amazing to me, but when i told him i would miss him while I was gone over the summer, all he said was "thanks" not the preferred "I'll miss you too". There also wasn't any kissing, which i wasn't expecting at first but did after we woke up. Does he like me as a friend, or more than that? Any opinion is valued, thanks so much!
