If I take my mother to the zoo and then push her into the alligator pit, will Jesus forgive me if I ask him?

If you truly repent and know what you did was wrong and could keep you out of heaven, then yes. If you are simply saying "I can do this and get away with it because Jesus will forgive me", it doesn't exactly work that way.
