Is it odd that we require girls to shave their underarms? Think outside the box for a minute - a guy may or?

I'm 20 and it seriously looks like I haven't hit puberty when it comes to body hair. I have NO body hair... and the sparse amount I have grows in thin, and blonde. I really don't have to shave... but the again... no one HAS TO shave. Walking around Philly i've seen PLENTY of hipster girls with hairy pits. It seems to be making a comeback.
