How can my husband and I get out of a lawsuit?

My husband owns his own flooring company and he is being sued. He installed tile in a new house 3 years ago and now it is cracking including the shower he did also. They had multiple reps out at the house trying to figure out why this has happened. He has been installing tile for 18 years and this has never happened before. The reps have determined that it was more than likely from the underlayment that got too wet and that the floor joices were not spaced properly. But the homeowner is still suing my husband and the builder and the store where the tile was purchased. My husbands lawyer said that it will cost us at least $15,000 for his fees and the $10,000 the homeowner is suing us for if we lose. What should we do?? Can we close my husband's business since it's an LLC and reopen it as a different name? Please help!!!!
