Is my boyfriend losing interest in me?

He rarely answers my text messages, my instant messages (if he does, he replies late), we barely have anything to talk about anymore even in person. We've been going out for almost two months but it seems like the spark is gone. He seems to have lost interest in me, and seems to not care as much. If I don't initiate any PDA, he will never do anything, I always have to make the first move with anything, he wasn't like that before. He left for his cottage last weekend, told me that we needed to spend more time with each other, he comes back and is distant. I feel like he doesn't care about me anymore. His best friend is a girl, and whenever he sees her he'll run up to her and just leave me behind. It's like being with me is a chore. I don't want to break up with him, but then again I feel like I should be treated better.
