Am I right in thinking that only a very few people on answers have a sense of humour?

I ask because some of the questions I ask I thought were obviously tongue in cheek but few people seem to realise it. In fact I have noticed that an occasional typo gets more response than the question. Also I would point out that we English do spell many words differently from U.S. of A folk, that doesn't make it wrong, just different
