Is it normal for my 2 months old nose to bleed?

He is congested and coughing a little bit, I think he has a little cold. Well I got some saline drops and used it to suction his nose. Well he gets REALLY mad everytime I do it and snorted and some snot came out and had some blood in it. Is this normal? Should I call the doctor? What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
