Is he changing his mind about me?

I started corresponding with a man who is in the navy. He was stationed in Kuwait. I met him on yahoo personals. We were calling and emailing for about a month before he came back to the states. We are both from the same state. When he came back he flew into another state to debrief, he thought he would be home within a couple weeks. I went to see him, and we found out he was not going to be home for 6 months. We hit it off really great. It was like fireworks right off the bat and we would both talk about how happy we were that we met. He even talked about moving close to me when he finally gets home. Now all of a sudden he doesnt have time to call, text or email. He isnt working because of disability and is waiting for the navy to get him medical treatment. I was going to pay (he always did before) to fly out to see him this long weekend, but he told me not to because its too expensive. I asked him if his feelings changed and he said no, but my gut tells me different. Whats up?
